Candy Corn Cookie Bark

Looking for a tasty Halloween snack?  This takes less than 10 minutes to make and this sweet, salty treat really hits the spot!  The bright festive colors make it a great Halloween giveaway!  I got this recipe from Your Home Based Mom where she has tons of great recipes and ideas.  Here is how to make it:

Candy Corn Cookie Bark
  • 14 Whole Oreos, broken up - Halloween Oreos if you can find them!
  • 1 1/2 Cups Pretzels, broken.  Long skinny ones work great.
  • 1 lb White Chocolate or Almond Bark - I used Almond Bark
  • 1 Cup Candy Corn
  • Brown and Orange colored sprinkles

Mix the broken Oreos, broken pretzels and about 3/4 cup of the candy corn on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Melt white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for about 1 1/2 minutes.  Stir and continue to microwave for 30 second intervals until completely melted and smooth.  Drizzle the white chocolate over the candy mixture.
Use a spatula to spread if necessary and push outer edges in.  Sprinkle with extra candy corn and the candy sprinkles.
Allow to set in the refrigerator or on counter until hard.  Then break into chunks.
Store in airtight container or wrap individually in single serve treat bags!
 Enjoy!

Your bark looks great. Be warned it does get a little addictive. You will want to make a version for every holiday like I did. Enjoy!
