Candy Corn Rice Krispy Treats

Rice Krispies are a household favorite around here.  And topping it with candy and chocolate?  Who can say no to that?  No one in my house apparently! We whipped up these tasty treats in a jiffy and the kids had so much fun decorating them.  Here's all you need:

Candy Corn Rice Krispy Treats
Print Recipe
9 Cups Rice Krispies
4 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
16 oz bag Mini Marshmallows
11 oz bag Candy Corn
Chocolate for dipping or drizzling (or bark)
Extra candy and sprinkles for topping (optional)

Prepare a 9x13 pan by lining with waxed or parchment paper.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter.
Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Stir in rice krispies and candy corn (reserving about 1/4 cup of the candy corn for topping).  Stir mixture until well combined.
Spread mixture into the 9x13 pan and press down with fingers. Top with extra candy corns.
Allow treats to cool and harden slightly before cutting.
Remove treat block from pan and cut into individual squares.
Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl or in a double boiler.  For the microwave, use 50% power and microwave for 1 minute, followed by 30 second intervals, stirring in-between until completely melted.  Dip treats in the chocolate or drizzle chocolate over top.  Top with additional candy or sprinkles.
You can also melt chocolate in a ziplock bag in the microwave, and when melted cut a small section of the corner of the bag for easy drizzling.
